BELLY UP TO THE LYNN CITY BAR

Looks like tonight we are going to talk about what your politicians are serving up. From tonight's LYNN CITY COUNCIL agenda:

Petition of Lynn Auditorium, James Marsh, Community Development, for
permission for Wine & Malt Beverage License at 3 City Hall Square.
                                   (Crighton)

Clearly liquor is how you make money and everybody loves money. I just don't know how I feel about our elected officials tending bar in CITY HALL. If we want to maximize the Auditorium's profits.

When I went to college there was a pub put in an old church. You know place is important and some things just give you the willies.

  1. They have to get a one day license for each concert, submitted in time for the monthly License Commission meetings. The whole point of getting the proper license is so that they don't have to do this every time as the auditorium gets busier and busier.

    1. I can understand the reasoning and I am not necessarily against it. I mean I would like it better if the auditorium was in another location, but it's not so we got to work with what we got.
